ミスティックサークルは、 1992年 にドイツでで結成されたメロディックブラック/デスメタルバンド。
バンドはもともとデスメタルバンドとして活動し解散。1994年に新しいラインナップで再結成。何本かのデモをリリースした後、1996 年にデビューアルバム”Morgenrote – Der Schrei nach Finsternis”をリリース。7枚のスタジオアルバムリリースし、2007年に解散。
2021年再結成、ラインナップは、グラフ・フォン・ベルゼバブ（B,G,Vo,Key）、オリジナル・メンバー、A.ブラックウォーアーゴン(Vo,Dr,G,Key)。
これは彼らの8枚目のスタジオアルバムで2022年2月にリリースされた。
プロダクションが良いクリーンな音のメロディックブラックメタル。邪悪でダークな感じというよりはアグレッシブで、テンポほぼミドルテンポ。メロディックではあるが、似たようなメロディやアレンジが多い。どれも同じに聴こえてしまう。
特筆するほどテクニカルでもなく、ドラマティックでもなく、メロディックブラックメタルに期待されるものには十分ではないように感じられた。
だが、録音が良いので、クリアに聴こえるのが好きな人は満足できるだろうと思うし、オールドスクールタイプのメロディックブラックメタルの雰囲気が好きな人には、楽しめる一枚ではあると思う。

Mystic Circle is a melodic black / death metal band formed in Germany in 1992.
The band originally played as a death metal band and stopped activity. The band was reunited in 1994 with a new lineup. After releasing several demos, he released his debut album “Morgenrote –Der Schrei nach Finsternis” in 1996. They released their 7th studio album and in 2007 the band split-up
The band was reunited in 2021, and the lineup is Graf von Belzebab (B, G, Vo, Key), original member, A. Black War Argon (Vo, Dr, G, Key).
This is their eighth studio album, released in February 2022.
A melodic black metal with a clean sound and good production. Aggressive rather than evil and dark, almost middle tempo. Although it is melodic, there are many similar melodies and arrangements. They all sound the same.
It wasn’t that technical or dramatic, and it felt like it wasn’t enough for what I expected from melodic black metal.
However, since the recording is good, I think that those who like to hear clearly will be satisfied, and those who like the atmosphere of old school type melodic black metal will enjoy it.
