ヨルン・ランデは、ノルウェー のヘヴィメタル・ハードロックのボーカリスト。
1994年元TNTのロニー・ル・テクロの率いるバンド、ヴァガボンドのボーカリストとしてメジャーデビュー。
その後、マスタープランやアヴァンタジア、イングヴェイ・マルムスティーンのバンドでボーカリストとして活躍。
このバンドは2000年に彼が中心になって結成されたバンド。
これは彼の13枚目のスタジオアルバム（4枚のカバーアルバムを含む）で、2022年6月にリリースされた。
言わずと知れた、一つの場所にとどまらない”渡り鳥”シンガーであり、その歌声はパワフルでハスキー、音域は広く、円熟した歌唱が魅力の脅威のシンガー。
この作品はバラードから、王道のヘヴィメタル、メロディックなハードロック、と彼の極上の歌声が楽しめる。作品全体は典型的なハードロック/ヘヴィメタルの楽曲である。
ただ私はヨルン・ランデの歌声が好きだが、これは私にとって少し期待していたものと違った。
作品のクオリティは本当に高いが、私にとっては、ヘヴィメタル寄りの曲やパワフルな曲があれば、そのほうが彼の持っているより良い特性が活かされるのではないかなあと思った。
だが彼の歌声は、誰もが認めるトップレベルシンガーに属しているので、どの楽曲においても彼のパフォーマンスは本当に素晴らしい。
全体として、古典的なハードロックの音楽スタイルが好きなファンの期待には十分応えられている、良いアルバムと言える。

Jørn Lande is a Norwegian heavy metal / hard rock vocalist.
He made his major debut in 1994 as a vocalist for Vagabond, a band led by former TNT Ronni Le Tekrø.
He is a vocalist in Masterplan, Avantasia and Yngwie Malmsteen’s bands.
This band was formed in 2000 by him.
This is his 13th studio album (including 4 cover albums), released in June 2022.
Needless to say, he is a singer who does not stay in one band, his singing voice is powerful and husky, his range is wide, and his mature singing is a great singer.
From ballads to typical heavy metal, melodic hard rock, and his awesome singing voice. The whole work is a classic hard rock / heavy metal song.
I just like Jørn Lande’s singing voice, which was a bit different from what I expected.
The quality of the work is really high, but for me, I thought that if there were heavy metal songs or powerful songs, it would be better to take advantage of his better characteristics.
But his singing voice belongs to the top level singer, so his performance is really great in every song.
Overall, it’s a good album for fans who like the classic hard rock music style.
