ダークスローン は、ノルウェーのブラックメタルバンド。
1986年にドラマーのFenriz（本名Gylve Nagell）らによって ノルウェーにて結成、当初はBlackDeathという名前のデスメタルバンドだった。
1987年に名前をDarkthroneに変更しNocturno Culto（本名Ted Skjellum）はギタリストとして1988年の春に加入。
1991年、セカンドアルバム以降ブラックメタルスタイルを採用し、ノルウェーのブラックメタルの主要バンドの1つになった。
これは彼らの19枚目のスタジオアルバムで2021年6月にリリース。
アルバムジャケットも含め、アルバムトータルとして出来はいい。
Darkthroneが、望んでプロダクションが良い状態にしないで、クリーンな音にしないことで、この作品の持つ、リアルな暗いオーラを引き立てる。
よって音質が悪いことは気にならず、音楽を聴くには十分である。
そして曲のテンポはスローで、時折エモーショナルなメロディーがあり、よりダークで邪悪な雰囲気なものにする。
バランスが見事。

Darkthrone is a Norwegian black metal band.
The band was formed in Norway by drummer Fenriz (real name Gylve Nagell) and others in 1986, and was originally a death metal band named Black Death.
In 1987, the name was changed to Darkthrone, and Nocturno Culto (real name Ted Skjellum) joined as a guitarist in the spring of 1988.
In 1991, the black metal style changed after the second album and became one of the main bands of Norwegian black metal.
This is their 19th studio album released in June 2021.
The total album including the album jacket is good.
Darkthrone didn’t make the production better on purpose. It gives the work a real and dark aura.
Therefore, it is enough to listen to music without worrying about the poor sound quality.
And the tempo of the song is slow, with occasional emotional melodies that make it a darker and more evil atmosphere.
The balance is excellent.
A good work of a nostalgic veteran black metal band!
