U.D.O.は、ドイツのヘヴィメタル・バンド。
リードボーカルのウド・ダークシュナイダーが1987年にアクセプトを離れた後UdoDirkschneiderによって彼自身のバンドを結成。
これは彼らの17枚目のスタジオアルバムで2021年10月にリリースされた。
正統派ヘヴィメタル。ウドが歌えば成立する一つの確立された音楽。ウド以外のメンバーが若く、音作りが変わったと言われているが、あまりそれは感じなかった。ただ曲の多様性は富んでいる。楽曲全てに彼らに期待される要素が含まれており、満足できる。
ウドの唯一無二のインパクトのある声にマッチする楽曲に身を任せる・・・素晴らしい感覚である。これぞヘヴィメタル。
どうしても本家アクセプトと比べてどちらが自分に合っているか、どちらを好むか考えることになるが、現時点ではこちらに軍配が上がった。
これからもウドには現代のジャーマンメタル界を牽引していってほしい！

U.D.O. is a German heavy metal band.
Lead vocalist Udo Dirkschneider formed his own band by Udo Dirkschneider after leaving Accept in 1987.
This is their 17th studio album, released in October 2021.
Orthodox heavy metal. Udo himself is one of the music styles. Other members are young except Udo. It is said that the sound making has changed, but I didn’t feel that much. However, there is a variety of songs. All the songs contain the elements you expect from them and you will be satisfied.
When you listen to a song that matches Udo’s one-of-a-kind, high-impact voice … it’s a wonderful feeling. This is heavy metal.
How does this compare to Accept?
I prefer this work.
I hope Udo will continue to lead the modern German metal world!
