カンニバル・コープスは、1988年に結成されたアメリカ合衆国出身のデスメタル・バンド。
アレックス・ウェブスター(ベース）がリーダー。
2021年にパット・オブライエン （ギター）が不祥事により活動停止、エリック・ルータン（ヘイト・エターナル）が加入し新メンバーとなる。
音楽性は一貫して変わらない。グロテスクなアルバムカバーが人気があり、グロテスクなバージョンとグロテスクが少ないヴァージョン(検閲されたカバー)と2種類ある。
これは彼らの15枚目のスタジオアルバムで2021年4月にリリースされた。
デスメタルとして、非常にオーソドックスなタイプで、聴き易い。完成度は高く、今作も期待通りの仕上がり。
楽曲の複雑さの中にモダンさも含み、メリハリが感じられる。ギターリフ、ギターソロは終始邪悪で不気味さを放つ。
新メンバーエリック・ルータンが影響しているのか、これは良い化学反応と言える。
ただミドルテンポの曲が多い。速い曲もあるが、疾走感を求める人は物足りなさを感じるかもしれない。だが全体通して禍々しいカンニバルコープスのらしさがあるので満足できる。

Pat O’Brien (guitar) was arrested in 2021 and stopped working, and Eric Ruttan (Hate Eternal) joined and became a new member.
Musicality does not change. Grotesque album covers are popular, and there are two types: a grotesque version and a less grotesque version (censored cover).
This is their 15th studio album, released in April 2021.
As a death metal, it is a very orthodox type and easy to listen to. It’s almost perfect, and this work is as expected.
The complexity of the song includes modernity and is well-balanced. Guitar riffs and guitar solos are evil and creepy from beginning to end.
This is a good chemical reaction because of new member Eric Lutan.
However, there are many middle tempo songs. Some songs are fast, but some may find them unsatisfactory. But you can enjoy the evil Cannibal Corpse.
