ノルディック・ユニオン はプリティ・メイズのロニー・アトキンス(ボーカル）とエクリプスのエリック・モーテンソン（ギター、ベース、キーボード、バッキング・ボーカル）によるプロジェクト。
2015年に結成された。音楽スタイルはメロディック ハード ロック／ヘヴィメタル。
これは彼らの3枚目のスタジオアルバムで2022年8月にリリースされた。
今作においては、過去二作のドラムを担当していた元ECLIPSEのマグナス・ウルフステッドの代わりに、スタジオミュージシャンとしてヘンリック・エリクソンがドラムを担当。
リードギターはフレドリック・フォルケ(元エクリプス)、トーマス・ラーソン（元BALTIMOORE、元Glenn Hughes）が担当。
2020年に不治のステージ4の肺がんと診断されたことを発表している
ロニー・アトキンスがリードボーカル。
音楽スタイルは既存の1st、2 ndのリリースと同様の、メロディ重視でロニー・アトキンスのパワフルで情熱的なボーカルを前面に押し出したハードロック。
とにかくロニーの歌唱力が申し分ないので、明らかに個々の楽曲がより優れて聴こえる。彼の歌唱力と独特の魅力、テクニックが最大限に生かされている。
非常に堅実で、ミュージシャン間の無駄な不調和のない良盤。
ロニーはとにかく残りの時間を無駄にはしたくないという思いなのか、ツアーの合間を縫っての彼自身のリリースであり、その期間が短い。本当に彼の全力で打ち込む姿に胸を打たれ、感動できる。
また一切の妥協がないリズムセクション、楽曲提供している、ミュージシャンがロニーにインスパイアされていることが感じられる。
魂のこもったリリースと言える。

Nordic Union is a project by Ronnie Atkins (vocals) of Pretty Maids and Erik Mårtensson (guitar, bass, keyboards, backing vocals) of Eclipse.
It was formed in 2015. Music style is melodic hard rock/heavy metal.
This is their third studio album, released in August 2022.
For this album, Henrik Erikson is on drums as a studio musician, replacing ex-Eclipse’s Magnus Ulfstedt, who was in charge of drums on the previous two albums.
Fredrik Folkare (former Eclipse) and Thomas Larsson (former BALTIMOORE, former Glenn Hughes) are in charge of lead guitars.
Ronnie Atkins announced in 2020 that he was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 lung cancer.
The music style is the same as the 1st and 2nd releases, melodic hard rock with Ronnie Atkins’ powerful and passionate vocals.
Anyway, Ronnie’s vocals are great, so obviously her individual songs sound better. His singing ability, uniqueness and technique are shown to the maximum.
A good album that is very solid and harmonious among musicians.
Ronnie doesn’t want to waste the rest of his time anyway, so it’s his own release in between tours, and the period is short. You can really be touched and moved by his full power.
You can also feel that the musicians are inspired by Ronnie, providing rhythm sections and songs that do not compromise at all.
It’s a soulful release.
