シリアスブラックは、2014年にローランド・グラポウ（g/ MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN）、トーマス “トーメン” スタッシュ（ds/ ex-BLIND GUARDIAN）、マリオ・ロハート（b/ EMRGENCY GATE, ex-VISIONS OF ATLANTIS）、ドミニク・セバスチャン（g/ EDENBRIDGE）、ヤン・ヴァシック（key/ ex-DREAMSCAPE）アーバン・ブリード（vo/ ex-TAD MOROSE, BLOODBOUND）の6人により結成された国際的なパワーメタルバンド。
現在メンバーチェンジを経て、オリジナルメンバーはマリオ・ロハートとドミニク・セバスチャンのみ在籍となる。本作よりボーカリストとしてニコラ・ミジック（ex.Eden’s Curse）が参加。
これは彼らの6枚目のスタジオアルバムで2022年2月にリリース。
メロディックでミドルテンポの曲が多めのパワーメタル。かなりソフトな仕上がりでメロディックハードロックに近いものが多い。新しいボーカルがメタル向きのパワフルで豪快な感じの声質なのと、ときどきヘヴィなギターソロがあったりと、パワーメタルのジャンルに収まった感はある。
全体としてパワーメタルの雰囲気を楽しめるし、テクニックはあるし、楽しめる。ただ印象に残る曲がもう少しあればなお良かった。

Serious Black is an international power metal band formed in January 2014.
Early members are Roland Grapow (g / MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN), Thomas “Tomen” Stash (ds / ex-BLIND GUARDIAN), Mario Rohart (b / EMRGENCY GATE, ex-VISIONS OF ATLANTIS), Dominique Sebastian (b / EMRGENCY GATE, ex-VISIONS OF ATLANTIS). g / EDENBRIDGE), Yang Vasic (key / ex-DREAMSCAPE) Urban Breed (vo / ex-TAD MOROSE, BLOODBOUND)
Currently, after a member change, Mario Rohart and Dominique Sebastian are the original members. Nicola Michik (ex.Eden’s Curse) has joined as a vocalist from this work.
This is their sixth studio album, released in February 2022.
Power metal with a lot of melodic and middle tempo songs. Many of them are soft and close to melodic hard rock. The new vocals have a powerful and dynamic voice quality suitable for metal, and sometimes there is a heavy guitar solo, so it seems that it fits into the power metal genre.
You can enjoy the atmosphere of power metal as a whole, and you can enjoy the technique. However, it would have been better if there were a few more impressive songs.
