ドリームテイルは、1999年にラミ・ ケラネンによって結成されたフィンランドのパワー/シンフォニックメタルバンド。
これは彼らの8枚目のスタジオアルバム。2022年4月にリリース。オリジナルメンバーはラミ・ ケラネンのみ。今作はヴォーカルが元バトルビーストの女性ヴォーカリスト、ニッテ・ヴァロ。
日本ではメジャーではないが、コンスタントに作品をリリースし続け、多くのメロディックスピードメタル、パワーメタルファンに支持される実力あるバンド。ただ一ついうなれば、メンバーチェンジが頻繁に行われており、それをどう見るかだ。
私は個人的にドリームテイルに関して言えば、それらを前向きに捉えている。
今回はパワフルで歌唱力抜群のニッテ・ヴァロ。これはかなりうれしかった。
華やかなキーボードのサウンドが特徴的で、全ての楽曲において表現がややオーバー気味であり、それはこのバンドならではのスタイル。
初期の頃から変わらない印象的でメランコリックでキャッチーなメロディ。
これは多くのファンがこのバンドに求めているものだ。

Dreamtale is a Finnish power / symphonic metal band formed by Rami Keränen in 1999.
This is their 8th studio album. Released in April 2022. The original members are Rami Keränen only. This album has vocals by former Battle Beast female vocalist Nitte Vallo.
Although this band is not a major band in Japan, it is a powerful band that has been constantly releasing works and is supported by many melodic speed metal and power metal fans. The only thing is that member changes are happening frequently, and what do you think about it?
I personally take them positively when it comes to Dreamtale.
That’s why Nitte Valo is powerful and has excellent singing ability. This is pretty nice.
There are many gorgeous keyboard sounds, and all the songs are overexpressed, which is the style unique to this band.
Impressive, melancholic and catchy melody that hasn’t changed since the early days.
That’s what many fans are hoping for in this band.
