ダーク・フューネラルは、1993年、ロード・アーリマン(ギター)を中心に結成されたスウェーデンのブラックメタル・バンド。
アーリマン以外のメンバーの入れ替えが多い。
これは彼らの7枚目のスタジオアルバムで2022年3月18日にリリース。
ブラックメタルの中でもスピード感のあるものが多くテクニカルで攻撃的。それでいてメロディアス、邪悪なムードもある。
ノルウェーのブラックメタルバンドに見られるダークで不協和音の要素と雰囲気は持ちつつ、ミドルテンポの曲もあるが、バランスをとるのがうまく、単調にならない。
時折ドラマティックであり、北欧らしさを感じさせ、惹きつける魅力がある。30年近くブラックメタルを牽引するベテランであり、彼らしか成し遂げられない域に到達したことをこのアルバムは示している！

Dark Funeral is a Swedish black metal band formed by Lord Ahriman (guitar) in 1993.
There are many member changes other than Ahriman.
This is their 7th studio album released on March 18, 2022.
It’s black metal, and it’s technical and aggressive with many fast-paced songs. Still, there is a melodious and evil mood.
There are some middle-tempo songs with the dark and dissonant elements and atmosphere found in Norwegian black metal bands, but they are well-balanced and not boring.
Sometimes it’s dramatic, it makes you feel Scandinavian, it makes you feel good, it’s amazing. .. A veteran who has been leading black metal for nearly 30 years.
This album shows that it has reached a point where only they can achieve it!
